Trumid provide a financial trading platform, built using leading edge product design and technology principles. In 2022 we commissioned Dave Farley to help us in our goal to become more nimble in our software delivery by increasing velocity, throughput, and quality. The challenge has been how we do all these things as the size and complexity of our organization grows.  Dave worked with us for 5 days, exposing us to new ideas and creating a forum for people to discuss and challenge long standing and entrenched beliefs. Having an expert lead these discussions kept things constructive. Dave’s role as “expert outsider” helped us pick apart what is working well from what is not, which saved us time and brain damage by not trying to fix what isn’t broken. We were left with a lot of good information to explore further, digest and integrate into our practices. We have 4 major deliverables and all are coming in on time, and we have reduced our production deployment times from 4 hours to under 1 hour and are working towards the goal of 10 minutes!
